The ScotlandIS Digital Technology (DigiTech) Awards recognise excellence within the Scottish technology industry rewarding the innovation, expertise and ambition of businesses.

doc-department is sponsoring the awards for the third year running.

UPDATE: Finalists have been announced…

In previous years doc-department sponsored the award for Outstanding Performance in Business Growth. Last year the award was won by the mobile app creation company Kotikan, and the one day fantasy sports company FanDuel won in 2013.

Since winning the award Kotikan have grown strongly and won a number of other awards. And FanDual now have a reported valuation around $400 million after their most recent round of funding.

Interestingly, Kotikan built Fanduel’s mobile app and won a Webby award in the process.

This year doc-department is sponsoring the Award for Star Performance of the Year and we look forward to finding out which great companies will be shortlisted this year.
